Hey so old/new player to this server. The server owner seems like a cool guy so I'm going to list some changes he should implement to make this an official private vindictus server instead of that grinding Awakening shit for guild kiddies. Been searching years for a proper private vindictus server, so I'm praying this is the one if done right.
So first off, a lot of people and my friends in the past only have the incentive (and I'm sure I speak for most people) request of giving us any gear we want obtainable from the start. Now, what I mean by this is:
-Give us +15s of anything we want, weapons and armor
-Give us the enchants and accessories for free
-Give us the infusions we want
Make this the endgame goal:
-Official hard glamours (like the newest ones from KR) so we have something to grind for
-Make +20 weapons the end game goal
As it is now, there's no reason to play on this server if we don't get the gear we want for free. First off, Awakening is already established and has this same grinding mentality. Please don't adopt and copy their server stuff because it seems like that's what you're trying to do. No one plays on their server and they have less than a 1.6% player retention rate. It's a good equipped server, but the management has a terrible vision of how to handle private servers. However, they have the same stuff you guys have here, so there's no reason for me to play on this over them. We don't care about 10x or 200 x gold/drops. We want the gear from the start.
Second, the whole point of a private server is being able to get the stuff we want that we couldn't get in the main game. If you're going to make us go through the same grinding process, there's no reason for me to play here. I'd rather go to Awakening or just the Main server. Like I said before, there's no incentive to play here without getting the free gear we want.
Third, the Main server already has free +15s coming up. Based on the latest KR notes they're making +15 incredibly easy to obtain. Again, once this comes into effect, no reason for me to play on a private server whatsoever.
In other words, please make this server a sandbox style. If you're going to make it another grinding PV server like Awakening, then I just wasted my time here. You guys need an incentive, and giving us the gear we want is what will make this the most popular private server for vindictus. I have faith since this server is new and the owner seems like he will listen to feedback. Don't make this just another grinding server with better rates. We await your decision.
