same error, moved to C: drive,

i can download the update, but it errors when it starts to install the update itself, googling the error "end of central directory record could not be found" seems to be something with the zip file itself


ps. any way i can download the entire game patched already? - i have good net

Having the exact same problem here. Windows is up to date, I have the .net framework, I just finished reformatting my whole PC a day or so ago so everything is fresh & clean. Tried every fix mentioned in this thread and nothing works.

Open cmd and type ping 85.25.211.83
Tell me if it times out, because it seems like something on your end is blocking the connection.
Firewall, etc.
